I'm a teen girl, and I'm very involved with music and theater. I'm also a HUGE reader. my books take up my enormous bookcase, my closet, and several shelves of my dresser. my parents gave me creative license for designing it, just nothing too extreme. I have a bunk bed (but that might be replaced with a loft/normal bed) with a bedspred decorated with gold leaf patterns (I can't replace this, it was a Christmas present) and white furniture. When I was little, my room had white and pink. now I've outgrown it by far, and I want to theme my room either around music or literature. I'm not sure. anyway:
My room is pretty small and rectangular. I have a closet built into a wall, not a normal chest. There's a white desk that is very useful and good quality, I don't want to give it away. I also have a matching bookshelf. They're kind of vintage looking, and paired with the right things could definitely be very nice. There's also this weird file cabinet that is painted white in attempt to match the other furniture, I don't care about it. What are your ideas for what I could do for a music/literature themed bedroom?

BTW, we are on a budget, so nothing too expensive. I would end up getting a bed from a garage sale or something.
Since you're getting a new bed, then you might consider painting it to look like a giant book or something else big and bold.
