As a single woman, you may be taking the first steps out on your own to create a home. whether you have a condo, apartment or were able to purchase a home, you have a lot of decorating to do. One of the most important spaces you will decorate is your bedroom.
There are a few reasons why the bedroom is vital.
First, this is a place you are going to spend a lot of your time as you try to rest after a long day at work. you need to make sure you create a space where you are comfortable, feel secure and can easily sink down into bed and get a good night’s sleep.
The second reason you want to make sure you decorate your bedroom correctly is because you will be giving off impressions to others who are coming into your home to look around. this is specifically the case when you are bringing suitors to the house.
The first time you bring a date home, you are going to give them a tour of the house. They are going to really take in everything they see as the decisions you make in decorating your home say a lot about you as a person.
For example, when someone walks into your bedroom and sees lots of red silk and satin and a place that looks like it could well be a room in a brothel, they are going to think that is how you run your life as well. While every woman likes to be sexy, there is such thing as giving off an air of being too sexy.. almost to the point of slutty. you want to avoid this appearance as it can send someone away instead of intriguing them.
On the other side of the coin, if your bedroom is decorated in a way that is very boring and has no personality, they may think that you too are boring and lacking in the personality department. this may be a turn off for the person and make them start to figure out a way to get out of the date and go home.
Instead, you need to take the time to carefully select the items and furniture that will go into your bedroom and make sure they are all you. the things you see in the room should accurately represent your personality so you are not giving off false messages when someone tours your home.
