Any suggestions for a Bedroom Paint Color ?

Here are some Basic facts about what I'm working with,
This is in a Home that was Build in 1923, the rest of the home is a mix of shabby chic, country french, "Tuscan" some oriental / Nature based colors and theme – Eclectic but really works.

The Bedroom
>Fairly Large Master bedroom 14 x 24.
>Furniture is Dark Chocolate Brown -
Headboard
Round side tables
Lamps that are Lucite ( clear) with White Shades
Large Lotus Mirror on the wall above the headboard.
Warm Beige lounge chair (s)
King size platform bed centered between two windows with Crisp white linens.

The walls are currently a warm mellow yellow and a mossy green because we knocked down the wall between two bedrooms to make the Master Larger. So I have been living with both colors.
Now we are ready to paint the room ONE color.

Considering the Mossy /Herbal green
Kinda like the idea of Blues – but we live in Michigan and are worried it will get "cold" feeling during our long winters.

Really need your ideas

HGTV. the link below is an interactive page where you see a bedroom and you can change the wall color.

My walls are an oriental red. I think it would look good with the dark furniture. It was painted that color when I bought it and I normally wouldnt pick that color….but I love it…

i think you should do a nice deep orange! that is what i have in my master bed room! i totaly love it! my fav! i also have dark chocolate wood in my room and brings out the color! looks great!

i was thinking like a pretty sky or robins egg blue but since the winter thing….hmm..

mint green?
veryyy light shade of purple?
lavender?
pink color maybe?

hope i could help! :)

A nice beige might look nice because the dark brown would really pop…or a blue…if you did the beige it would look really nice if you had some like dark aqua decorations…!

Pastels are soooo pretty

Maybe you could put a deep red, maroon, or deep orange. those are very warm colors. Hope I helped.

*** on all the walls.

I would go with something in a warm tone, to counteract the gray northern winter light…perhaps a terracotta. Then you could accent with the greens and blues that you like, because orange and blue are complementary colors, and green goes with everything. It would also complement the existing colors in your furniture.
I used a terracotta color in my bathroom, and it casts a nice "glow" on my skin (ironically the exact shade as my bronzer–I didn't realize it until the walls were painted and I was putting my makeup on!) the trim in the bathroom is crisp white. Tile is warm beige. they all look great together.

Would you consider going orange? I know it's scarey, but it would really warm up your room and go great with dark wood furniture. the type of orange I'm talking about is not crayon orange (although I love that color), I'm talking about a pumpkin-spice orange. I had my living room painted this color in my old house and it looked so warm, clean and spacious. Then you can play with your bedding and window covering depending on the season…..warm seasons go with white bedding and gauzy white curtains…..cold seasons try a warm rusty red on the bed and maybe a colorful red plaid or gingham (not Little House on the Prairie….lol) on the windows. I would love to know what you decide to do. Good luck with it and have tons of fun!!!

I just started Excel twice, opening two windows, and arranged them side by side. From there it would be easy to open separate files.
